FODMAPP helps you scan your food, log your gut and see what keeps coming up. Here you'll find everything the app can do and how to use it.
Point the camera at the dish, the menu, the buffet or the fridge, and see the FODMAP level of every ingredient, dish and product.
Snap your plate. The food scanner recognizes the ingredients, estimates the amounts and shows which are low, moderate and high in FODMAP, with swap ideas for a lower level.
Snap a menu in any language. The dishes appear in your language with their FODMAP level, and under βTo the waiterβ you get a ready-made note in the menu's language to show.
Take one photo of the whole buffet table. The AI finds the dishes and shows which are low, moderate and high in FODMAP, so you get the full picture fast.
Snap your fridge. FODMAPP finds the foods, and you can add anything the AI missed. Then you get recipes made only from the low-FODMAP foods, scaled to the number of servings.
Every scan shows the level with a color and three bars: low, moderate or high. You also see the amount and which FODMAP group sets the level, such as fructans.
Something off? Tap βEditβ, add or remove ingredients, change the amounts and ask the AI to reassess.
Tap βLog as eatenβ once you've eaten what you scanned. You choose the portion afterwards, and the meal goes straight into your diary.
All your scans are gathered in one place, with search. Filter by dish, menu, buffet, fridge or barcode, and open an earlier result again.
Amounts are shown in metric or US units, based on your country.
Point the camera at any product's barcode and get a full FODMAP assessment in seconds.
The barcode scanner taps into Open Food Facts β one of the world's largest open food databases with over 4.4 million products from countries around the globe. Whether you're at home or travelling abroad, chances are the product is already in the database.
When you scan the barcode, the app fetches the ingredient list on the pack and assesses every ingredient, with serving size and lower-FODMAP alternatives.
Use the scanner before putting anything in your trolley. It works with packaged products from any country β perfect when travelling or shopping at international stores.
Food diary and symptom diary in one. The more often you log, the more the app can show you.
Record pain and stress from 0 to 10, symptoms like bloating and cramps, sleep, medication and menstruation. You can add your own symptoms and a note.
Save a good day with one tap. It counts as a logged day in the diary and the analysis.
Is today like last time? Copy your previous log and adjust what's different.
Log bathroom visits with the Bristol scale from 1 to 7, and add details like urgency if you want.
Type in what you've eaten, or log a scan as eaten.
Pick a time, and the app reminds you to log.
The Pain diary, AI Analysis and the report are based on what you've logged.
See your days by week, month or year, with average pain, a color-coded calendar, a chart for pain and stress, and which symptoms keep coming back.
Choose the last 14 or 30 days. Once you've logged at least 10 days in the period, you get a summary of your logs. You can run three analyses per day.
The app itself counts which foods with moderate or high FODMAP content you ate in the 24 hours before logged symptoms, ranked and with the number of times.
A chart shows the highest pain and stress per day in the period, side by side.
Go through the results with the AI chat, and read the answers to common questions about how the numbers are counted.
Your analyses are saved, so you can open an older analysis again.
Choose the period yourself and share a PDF with symptoms, bowel movements, meals and medication with your doctor or dietitian.
Type a question and get an answer in seconds β in your own language, 24/7.
Type a food, a dish or a product name and get a FODMAP assessment with an explanation, portion advice and low-FODMAP alternatives.
Describe a restaurant dish, and the AI assesses each ingredient, explains the FODMAP content and suggests how to order a low-FODMAP version.
Ask for a full low-FODMAP weekly menu with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks β the AI creates a varied and balanced plan with recipes.
After your meal plan, ask for a shopping list. The AI generates one based on the menu so you always have the right ingredients at home.
Ask what FODMAP is, which types exist (fructans, galactans, polyols, fructose, lactose), how the diet works, or anything else related to FODMAP.
Ask the AI for relaxation techniques, breathing exercises and practical tips for handling stress in everyday life.
The chat suggests questions based on your scans and meals, such as low-FODMAP alternatives to something you've scanned or a recipe for something you've eaten.
The answers you give when you start using the app are used as background in the chat, so you don't have to repeat yourself. You can change them anytime.
Messages stay in the chat for 24 hours and are then deleted automatically.

Make sure there's good lighting and the entire food item or menu is visible in the camera frame for the best analysis.
The scans, the analysis and the chat need internet. Wi-Fi gives the fastest answers.

Your food and symptom entries are stored on your account so you can look back at them, and you can delete them in the app whenever you want.
FODMAP content depends on how much you eat. Try to include the portion size when chatting with the AI β it makes the answer more accurate.
